Smith House Inn Policies


Arrival & Departure: Check-In can be scheduled from 4 PM – 6 PM; Checkout time is no later than 11 AM. Please contact the Inn for early arrival & late departure requests. 

Occupancy: All rates are based on double occupancy; one additional guest may be accommodated in the Cunningham Suite at a surcharge of $30 per night.

Taxes: Sales Tax 6% | County Hotel Tax 3% - sorry, they make us do this.

Minimum Stay Requirements: Minimum stays are typically not required; however this may not be the case during certain peak times such as Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and PumpkinFest.    

Pets:  Although we adore our furry friends, Smith House Inn is not equipped to accommodate pets; however, if you are planning a visit to the area with your favorite Four legged companion please ask us about boarding and training packages available at On-Point Outfitters. 

Rates: Rates are subject to change without notice.  Please inquire about multiple night discount packages.

Cancellation Policy:  All cancellations are subject to a $30 processing fee.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made with two (2) weeks of reservation date unless the room can be filled.

Parking: Street Parking is available in front of the Inn.  There is also parking by the garage via the alleyway on the left of the Inn.

Bike Storage:  We offer a locked, detached, two car garage for your bike storage.  Bikes are not permitted in the guest rooms.

WIFI: If your cellular carrier is anything other than Verizon you will need to rely on our complimentary wifi in order to communicate with the outside world.  We will provide details upon check in. 

Breakfast:  In order to fuel you for your fun filled day of adventure on the rivers and trails we are happy to provide a simple, yet delicious, complimentary breakfast.  Please let us know of any allergies or aversions upon booking.

Damages & Smoking: Guests are responsible for all damages to Inn property.  The Smith House Inn is a smoke-free property. There will be a One night's lodging fee and a $200 cleaning fee will be incurred if smoking occurs inside the Inn. 

Group Bookings: Three or more rooms require a 50% Deposit due upon booking, Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

Single Rooms: Single room reservations are required to be paid in full at time of booking.
